Will Dennis and Marlon both be at my wedding?

Yes. In the nearly 10 years we have been doing this together, we have never missed an event. Life happens and we always have a contingency plan in the unlikely event of a true emergency, but our track record speaks for itself. When you book Premier Entertainment you book us specifically, not whoever is available.

What makes you different from other wedding DJs?

Most DJs handle the music and the mic at the same time. We don't. Dennis stays completely focused on the music all night. Marlon stays completely focused on your guests, your timeline, and every moment that needs to land right. Two specialists so nothing falls between the cracks.

Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hour?

Yes. The Wedding and The Full Experience packages both include ceremony sound system and cocktail hour music. The Reception package covers grand entrance through last dance and is ideal for couples whose ceremony is at a separate location.

Do you take music requests?

Absolutely. We work with you before your wedding to build a custom playlist around your preferences and a do-not-play list. On the night we read the room and adjust in real time. Your playlist is the guideline, not a rigid script.

Do you provide other services such as lighting or photo booths?

Yes. We offer uplighting, monogram and gobo projection, video montage display, and a staffed open air photo booth with dedicated technician, custom prints, and digital sharing. All available as add-ons or included in The Full Experience package.

How early do you arrive to set up?

We typically arrive 90 minutes to 2 hours before your event start time to ensure everything is set up, tested, and ready before your first guest walks in. For events requiring ceremony sound and a separate cocktail hour setup we arrive earlier.

Are you fully insured?

Yes. Premier Entertainment carries full liability insurance. We can provide proof of insurance to your venue upon request.

What is your travel coverage area?

We serve all of San Diego County within approximately 45 minutes of Rancho Bernardo, including Oceanside to the north, Chula Vista to the south, Temecula wine country to the northeast, and Alpine to the east. Events outside of San Diego County are not available at this time.

What are your sales taxes?

DJ and MC services are not subject to California sales tax. You pay exactly what your package or quote states, no tax surprises.

How far in advance should we book?

Peak Saturdays from April through October book up quickly. We recommend reaching out 9 to 12 months in advance for those dates. Off-peak dates and weekdays have more flexibility but earlier is always better to guarantee availability.

Do you perform at non-wedding events?

Yes. We provide DJ and MC services for corporate parties, school dances, quinceañeras, graduation parties, and private celebrations. Non-wedding events are quoted based on your specific date, location, and hours. Contact us for a custom quote.

How do we get started?

The easiest first step is to check availability for your date. Fill out our contact form and we will get back to you personally within a few hours. From there we will set up a quick call to learn more about your day and put together a custom quote. No pressure, no commitment.
